We love animals here at BAS, and we want you to know yours will be loved like our own!

The founder of BAS, Olivia, is particularly fond of horses and definitely has a soft spot for German Shepherds! 

She has owned horses all her life, different breeds, ages, temperaments and tried out different disciplines. 

​

Olivia studied a diploma in Animal Management at Askham Bryan College in 2011 and from there she ran a small livery yard, here in Yorkshire. 

​

A big part of her life has been The Riding for the Disabled organisation, which she's been part of for over seven years. 

Here she has helped many children and adults alike to connect with horses in a way which benefits them. 

​

In 2014, Olivia flew off to America to work in a large barn as a riding instructor and groom. She gained a wealth of knowledge here and absolutely loved the experience, so much so she went again in 2017! 

​

Currently Olivia is self employed working on an intensive dairy farm, dog walking, pet sitting and looking after her favourite nags!
